I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thomer. Genuinely cares about me as her patient, takes her time with discussing my concerns and maps out options for me to consider. She is very down to earth and even called me back for my appointment that day. You never see that! She is smart and takes her time with me even though I know she has many patients to see. Wonderful physician

This was a follow-up from a surgical procedure. Dr. Thomer is prepared for visits and has reviewed my biopsy and test results. She was genuinely happy And I was feeling much better and free of pain. She is thoughtful and caring and I appreciate her bedside manner and attention to detail. She explains conditions well, and while I was at the hospital, she was attentive to my husband by sitting with him and answering his questions.

She also reviewed and took time to share how blood lab results and urine tests of mine showed how kidney and urinary Issues are related. She asked great questions and then proceeded to explain everything I needed to know about my condition and treatment options. She easily spent 45 minutes with her and never felt rushed. She seemed genuinely interested in finding a solution to my problem and made me feel at ease to ask even the most sensitive questions. I feel blessed to have found her and look forward to having her in my corner as I move forward to getting treatment for my condition.

Dr. Tomer was very interested in my past medical history as it related to my Urology needs. She explained my current issues extremely well and including me in the decision process of treatment moving forward. She is excellent and what she does.

My care provider was great post operation, informing me of all the things that I would have to be doing and reactions I might be having. Spent a great deal of time with me informing me actions that I should be taking to prevent further conditions of the kind I had.

Told Provider about a problem and by the next day things were already in motion to fix the situation.

This visit was an annual follow up visit related to a surgery I had in August of 202 for a congenital UPJ obstructiom. Results from a nuclear renal scan in May showed that I have a recurring UPJ obstruction. Dr Thomer spent ample time explaining my test results and options, which are the same as three years ago. Either correct again by cystoscopy and stent or more definitive procedure involving laparoscopic robotic arm procedure & stent which involves an overnight stay in hospital. After a week of thought, I agreed to the more invasive procedure. Dr Thomer even called me personally on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 to discuss my decision regarding the procedure and to see if I had further concerns or questions before her scheduler proceeded with scheduling. Dr Thomer has been my urologist for almost 4 years. She is always thorough, professional and suppportive. She is an amazing doctor that always impresses me with her knowledge, concern for my health and her ability to explain my health issues. At each visit she writes notes or draws & labels diagrams while she explains lab/test results and options for treatment. Compliments and thanks go out to Dr Thomer for her excellent care.
