    • Dr. Kaja Richard is a hospitalist with St. Joseph’s Hospital-North. He provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. Richard is board certified in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Richard earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Richard is a member of the National Medical Association, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
