Joann Correira is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and a Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Joann’s clinical interests include prevention and management of chronic medical conditions and geriatric care. She promotes patient-centered health and wellness through coordinated, innovative care, using shared decision-making to empower patients in their health journey. Joann is committed to conversations that focus on health goals and whole-person care. She’s certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support.
