Ian Roberts, PA-C

Ian Roberts is a certified physician assistant and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, where he’s a member of the cardiothoracic surgery operative team, seeing patients of all ages. He received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut, and earned a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. Ian completed a 12-month post-graduate surgical residency at the Yale University-Norwalk Hospital surgical residency program, where his focus was computed tomography (CT) surgery. He specializes in endoscopic vein harvest, first-assisting cardiac surgery cases and robotic thoracic surgery. Ian is trained to manage patients in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit. He served in the United States Marine Corps and is a combat veteran.
