Dr. Aniqa Shahrier is trained in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients newborn to adults. Before joining BayCare Medical Group, she practiced at Pediatric Cardiology Associates. Dr. Shahrier earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and completed a pediatric residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. She completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and an adult congenital heart disease fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Shahrier diagnoses and treats heart conditions in infants, children and adults, and works closely with their primary care physicians to provide coordinated, comprehensive care. She’s a member of the Adult Congenital Heart Association, the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society, the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Dr. Shahrier is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
