BayCareAnywhere™ is BayCare’s telemedicine service. Board-certified physicians can now diagnose and treat patients through video communications so that you can get care from anywhere, anytime, at your convenience.

What makes BayCareAnywhere unique?

Because BayCareAnywhere is a part of BayCare, the Tampa Bay area’s largest health care system, you are connected to a wide variety of services at more than 250 locations. And, if your condition cannot be treated with BayCareAnywhere and you require an in-person consultation instead, we will deduct the cost of your BayCareAnywhere visit when you visit a BayCare Urgent Care center.  

How do I get in touch with a doctor?

Once you have downloaded the app or visited BayCareAnywhere.org and registered, you can choose from a list of doctors who are online. Each doctor has a short bio, so you can get to know a little bit about them.

Is BayCareAnywhere expensive?

The cost of a BayCareAnywhere visit is only $45. If the doctor determines that you need to be seen in-person at an urgent care center, you can print your patient summary and present it at any BayCare Urgent Care to receive a $45 discount off your visit. 

Who makes up the BayCareAnywhere doctors?

The physicians on BayCareAnywhere are board certified and range from family medicine doctors, who can treat people of all ages, internal medicine doctors, emergency medicine doctors and pediatricians. Many of the physicians on BayCareAnywhere are BayCare physicians. You can tell which physicians are BayCare doctors by the BayCare symbol on top of their photo. 

When and how do I pay?

Once you have chosen your doctor, you will be able to enter your credit card information. If you have a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account, you may be able to use it to pay for telemedicine services. Consult with your insurance provider for more information. 

What types of aliments will a BayCareAnywhere doctor treat?

Common conditions for children and adults include:

  • Colds 
  • Flu 
  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Possible sinus infections or sinusitis
  • Conjunctivitis or pinkeye
  • Swimmers Ear
  • Migraines
  • And more

Will a BayCareAnywhere doctor prescribe medicine?

Yes, if appropriate for your illness, BayCareAnywhere doctors can prescribe medication, but please note that not all BayCareAnywhere visits will result in a prescription order.

How do I receive my prescription?

When you use BayCareAnywhere, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us your preferred pharmacy. The BayCareAnywhere doctor will then send the prescription order to that pharmacy. 

What are your hours? 

With BayCareAnywhere, you will have 24/7 access to a live doctor 365 days a year.

How can I give feedback to BayCare regarding my BayCareAnywhere experience?

If you have used BayCareAnywhere and would like to speak with a BayCare representative about your experience, please call (844) 370-4440 Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm. You may be prompted to leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Not all illnesses can be fully resolved with BayCareAnywhere. Some visits may require follow-up with a doctor in-person within 24 to 72 hours.
