Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

Breast cancer may be found early with imaging exams such as mammograms. Learn more about the different types of mammograms and screening procedures.

If a screening mammogram reveals something unusual, there are many non-invasive procedures your physician may recommend as next steps in evaluating your overall breast health, and these include additional imaging procedures, including diagnostic mammograms, MRIs, ultrasounds and even x-rays.

Breast cancer treatment options may vary as well, and may involve a combination of non-invasive treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and/or possibly a surgical option. Learn more about breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
