Now offering the latest in 3D mammography, our breast center is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. This designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules. Our breast center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and meets the standards set by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
Our breast imaging technologists are well qualified through education and certification to administer breast imaging procedures. The radiologists who interpret breast imaging studies and perform interventional procedures are board certified in breast imaging and interventional medicine.
Susan Sheppard McGillicuddy Breast Center is located in the Professional Office Building on the St. Anthony’s Hospital campus near downtown St. Petersburg.
We offer convenient patient drop off at the entrance of the Professional Office Building on 5th Avenue North, with free patient parking in the adjacent multi-level parking garage.
