Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center, located on the first floor of the Axelrod Pavilion on Morton Plant Hospital campus, is the flagship location of the Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center network with locations in Clearwater, Safety Harbor and Trinity, Florida.
The Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center at Morton Plant Hospital offers an integrated network of comprehensive breast health services that are focused on the needs and concerns of all women. Our convenient location offers a tranquil atmosphere, upgraded amenities and comfortable women's only waiting areas.
Now offering the latest in 3D mammography, our breast center is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. This designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules. Our breast center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and meets the standards set by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
Our imaging technologists are well qualified through education and certification to administer breast imaging procedures. The radiologists that interpret breast imaging studies and perform interventional procedures are board certified with most being fellowship trained in breast imaging and interventional medicine. Most insurances are accepted.
We offer convenient patient drop off and free valet parking available at the front entrance of the Axelrod Pavilion. Free parking is also available at the nearby Ptak multi-level parking garage.
