The Fred J. Woods Radiation Therapy Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital treats more than 900 patients each year using a variety of radiation therapy treatments and state-of-the art equipment. Established in 1969, it was the first radiation center in Tampa Bay.

We do single or multiple metastatic lesions, with all lesions treated at the same time
Treatments are completed within a 30 minute window from the time patient walks into the room
Treatment utilizes a Varian Truebeam with high definition MLCs Brainlab software and ExacTrac imaging
- Siemens SOMATOM Definition AS-20 CT simulator with dual energy scans
- Eclipse 4D treatment planning system
- One 23EX Varian Linear Accelerator with multileaf collimator and complete on-board imaging
- One Varian Truebeam with high definition MLCs
