St. Anthony’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center, part of BayCare Health System, is a 50-bed inpatient psychiatric unit that offers 24-hour nursing care for adults dealing with behavioral disorders and addictions. Our experienced team is comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians. St. Anthony’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center is a Baker Act-receiving facility.
Services Offered
- Open 24 hours/day, seven days a week with admission only on weekdays.
- Immediate assessment, stabilization, triage and inpatient care; length of stay depends on each individual’s needs, usually 3-7 days.
- A comprehensive range of services for adults with substance abuse disorders and co-existing mental health disorders.
Referral sources include: Internal BayCare programs, inpatient psychiatric, hospital emergency rooms, community providers, public defenders and attorneys, Department of Corrections and private insurers
