San Jose Mission Clinic

In 2000, Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Catholic Charities and St. Joseph’s Hospital joined together to offer free medical services to the community. The clinic, located at San Jose Mission, began as a food pantry. Later, it grew to a mobile medical bus, and is now housed in a facility on the San Jose Mission grounds. The staff and volunteer doctors provide weekly medical clinics and additional clinic hours for chronic disease management and specialty services. At San Jose Mission Clinic, medical services are free for people not covered by insurance or other programs. To qualify, the patient’s income must be below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
