Our specialized team of experts provide high quality, compassionate care to children in our pediatric emergency center.
Access the emergency center from the Mease Drive entrance to the hospital campus. Take immediate right turn into the Emergency Center parking lot off Mease Drive.
Free Valet parking available at the Emergency Center entrance.

Services Offered
- Private rooms with child-friendly decorations and coastal themed waiting room.
- Child-size, care-specialized tools and equipment.
- Care team led by a double board-certified pediatric emergency/emergency medicine doctor.
- Team of nurses who are all pediatric advanced life support certified (PALS).
- Child Life Specialists that are trained professionals specializing in child development.
- When possible, we use drug-free methods of pain relief and perform procedures without using needles.
- An inpatient pediatric unit for children who need to be admitted to the hospital.
- Pediatric emergency care in collaboration with pediatric specialists at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and transfer to Steinbrenner Emergency Trauma Center at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa if deemed necessary.
