Imaging Services at St. Joseph's Hospital-North

The St. Joseph’s Hospital-North imaging department serves the North Tampa community and is located on Van Dyke Road just west of Dale Mabry Highway.

Our imaging department is accredited by The Joint Commission and we also carry additional imaging related accreditations with the American College of Radiology, which means we regularly go through a vigorous review process to ensure we meet nationally accepted standards of care. Our imaging technologists are well qualified through education and certification with the State of Florida and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

The radiologists that interpret imaging studies and perform interventional procedures are board certified; with many being fellowship trained in subspecialized areas that include cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, vascular and nuclear medicine specialties.

The Breast Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital North provides high quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging services in compassionate and tranquil environment. Our breast center is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. This designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules. Our breast center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and meets the standards set by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).

Ample parking is available adjacent to the hospital or you can utilize our convenient patient drop-off and free valet parking service at the front entrance. From the main entrance of the hospital, go to the Admitting department on the first floor to register for your imaging appointment.
