Located in the heart of Dunedin, the Mease Dunedin Hospital imaging department is accredited by The Joint Commission and we also carry additional imaging related accreditations with the American College of Radiology, which means we regularly go through a vigorous review process to ensure we meet nationally accepted standards of care. Our imaging technologists are well qualified through education and certification with the State of Florida and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

The radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians that interpret imaging studies and perform interventional procedures at Mease Dunedin Hospital are board certified; with many being fellowship trained in subspecialized areas that include cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, vascular and nuclear medicine specialties.

Our screening mammography department is part of the Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center network, ensuring seamless continuity of care by a dedicated team of breast imaging experts should diagnostic follow-up be needed.
