BayCare St. Joseph’s Hospital Cardiac, Vascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:00AM - 4:00PM; Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30AM - 2:30PM
Located in the Medical Arts Building at BayCare St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, our program supports patients who are recovering from heart attack, heart surgery and a range of cardiac conditions, as well as those who are managing heart failure or vascular or pulmonary disease. We focus on safe, personalized exercise, education and lifestyle guidance to strengthen the heart, improve endurance and reduce future health risks. Outpatient exercise sessions are individually tailored to reduce the risk of future recurrence and help patients return to activity and independence. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team that includes registered nurses, respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists and dietitians. A physician referral is required.
All BayCare cardiac rehabilitation programs, including at BayCare St. Joseph's Hospital, are accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, reflecting our commitment to high standards of quality patient care.
