Behavioral Health Walk-In Care for East Pasco County

BayCare Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center in Dade City provides outpatient care in a safe, welcoming and nonjudgmental environment. Our urgent care center offers same-day walk-in services and isn’t intended for ongoing treatment. This innovative service is a timely alternative to hospital emergency departments and inpatient crisis services. It’s designed to support individuals age 18 and older who aren't in an immediate crisis but need prompt, unscheduled mental health or addiction support.

If you’re in a crisis situation and need immediate help, call the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Arriving for Care

When you arrive, park on the street near the center or in the lot between the BayCare Behavioral Health Outpatient Center and the BayCare Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center. Use the front entrance and check in at the front desk on the right. The waiting area is on the left; you can have a seat there and complete your intake forms.

Important Patient Information

To help maintain a safe environment, weapons, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia aren’t permitted, and we request that you don’t bring food or beverages to the facility. Service animals are welcome, but personal pets or emotional support animals aren't allowed.

Visitor Information

Friends, loved ones or caregivers are welcome to accompany you to the center and can wait in the general waiting area while you’re seen by our providers. This facility is designed to serve adults age 18 and older, and the care environment isn’t ideal for children. Having children with you may limit the services we can provide during your visit. Telehealth options may be available in certain situations.

BayCare Behavioral Health programs and services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, reflecting BayCare’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health care.
