BayCare is proud to operate the first Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center in Florida. This innovative service provides a safe, timely alternative to hospital emergency departments and inpatient crisis services for individuals who need immediate, unscheduled care for mental health and addiction issues. The center provides targeted services and support and is not a source for routine or ongoing treatments. Like other urgent care centers, BayCare’s Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center is an outpatient service, accepting same-day appointments and voluntary walk-ins for in-person assessments and rapid access to care.
