BayCare Behavioral Health – Integrated Stabilization Unit

The Integrated Stabilization Unit serves individuals 18 years of age and older who present with a serious and acute mental illness or substance abuse impairment, or with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The innovative approach integrates the services lines of crisis stabilization and detoxification services within the same facility, but tailors the treatment to each individual based on their particular needs. Once the individual’s acute care needs are met, the consumer is then transitioned to the next clinically appropriate level of care.
