Discharge Information

Your physician will determine when you are able to leave the hospital. Physicians make their rounds in the morning, so discharge times are generally no later than 11 a.m. Your nurse will give discharge instructions and any prescriptions needed for recovery. Discharge time and instructions are personalized to each particular procedure and how well you are recovering. Please note that prescriptions need to be filled at an outside pharmacy.

If you have questions or concerns about the discharge process, please speak with your nurse or social worker.
