The new hospital campus features:hospitals exterior

  • The four-story, 56,000-square-foot Starkey Medical Tower with new private patient rooms, increasing the total number of patient beds at Morton Plant North Bay by more than 25 percent. The tower also includes a new state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Center, medical surgical unit, new respiratory care services and community education rooms.
  • The three-story, 45,000-square-foot Medical Arts Building is the center for outpatient care and offers an expanded four-bed sleep disorders center, outpatient lab and outpatient rehabilitation services. All patient registration services have been centralized to the Medical Arts Building, which has a covered walkway connecting it to the main hospital. The building also contains offices for primary care physicians and specialists, a new addition to the Morton Plant North Bay campus.
  • New Surgery Center with six operating suites and two endoscopy/procedure suites. The suites feature the latest technology, plus the center offers numerous patient and visitor amenities so you receive exceptional care in comfortable surroundings.

Nationally recognized for health care excellence, we've achieved Primary Stroke Center recertification by The Joint Commission, meaning our stroke care protocols meet the standards of the country's best programs.

In addition, Morton Plant North Bay now provides advanced heart care including emergency and elective cardiac stenting for the treatment of heart attacks.
