Tampa, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2019) – Maryam Abid, D.O., has joined BayCare Medical Group at 1601 W. Timberland Dr., Suite 300, Plant City, FL  She is accepting new patients age 18 and older.

Dr. Abid is a patient-focused family medicine provider who emphasizes building relationships with her patients and working towards creating a personalized treatment plan. Serving the Plant City-area community, Dr. Abid prefers to explore the many health care options available for each patient. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida, followed by a family medicine residency at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida.

Dr. Abid is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. She is a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association, who also speaks Urdu.
