BayCare Names New Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for BayCare Medical Group

BayCare Health System has named Angela Cosby the new vice president and chief operating officer for BayCare Medical Group. BayCare is a leading not-for-profit organization comprised of 15 hospitals and hundreds of other convenient locations throughout Tampa Bay and central Florida regions.

Cosby, who was the president of INTEGRIS Medical Group at INTEGRIS Health, will lead strategic and operational planning for physician group services. She will also help standardize systems, identify efficiencies and cost savings as well as coordinate clinical activities and medical education programs.

Cosby is an executive with more than 20 years of experience in various health care settings. During her several leadership roles at INTEGRIS, she led the physician enterprise comprised of more than 400 multi-specialty providers and 125 clinic locations. 

Prior to joining INTEGRIS, Cosby served as the chief executive officer at Surgical Specialists of Oklahoma and vice president of operations of HealthTexas Provider Network at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas, Texas.

Cosby completed a bachelor of science degree at Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree of public health, health administration and policy at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
