St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation Hosts Seventh Annual Golf Classic

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Sept. 21, 2016) – The St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation invites everyone to play the course the pros play at the Seventh Annual Foundation Golf Classic at Innisbrook Golf Resort on Friday, Oct. 28. The tournament will take place on the resort’s Copperhead Course, which has been home of the PGA Tour’s Valspar Championship for several years. 

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit St. Anthony’s Foundation programs and services for the community. Deadline to enter is Oct. 10. The resort is located at 36750 U.S. 19 N., Palm Harbor. 

Tournament registration begins at 9 a.m. Before heading to the course, participants can get some expert advice during a one-hour golf clinic hosted by Innisbrook pros at 10 a.m. Lunch and beverages will be served until 12:30 p.m. inside Packard’s Steakhouse. There will be a Ball Drop sponsored by Tampa Bay Aviation at 12:30 p.m. just before the Classic’s shotgun start at 12:45 p.m.

The tournament will be organized in a four-person scramble. Players of all abilities are welcome and may sign up as individuals or as a team of four. The all-inclusive fee of $550 per person includes fees for greens, cart, tee gifts, range balls, lunch at Packard’s and the awards reception. 

The awards reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Packard’s Steakhouse Poolside Deck. Appetizers and cocktails will be served.
