South Florida Baptist Hospital Announces New Name for Heart and Vascular Center

PLANT CITY, Fla., March 19, 2015 – South Florida Baptist Hospital unveiled the new name for its Heart and Vascular Center on March 15 – the Steve and Krista Howard Heart and Vascular Center.

Steve Howard is president and CEO of Patterson Companies of Plant City, transportation management providers.  He serves on the board of the South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation.

“We wanted to support the hospital,” Howard said of the donation to name the Heart and Vascular Center.  “Plus several members of our family have suffered from heart disease.”

The Heart and Vascular Center opened in 2010, offering state-of-the-art diagnostic services, including diagnostic heart catheterization, and interventional heart and vascular procedures.
