Very personable, engaging, thoughtful and knowledgeable....presented Information, diagnosis, recommendations in a clearly-understood manner. I did not feel as tho the interaction reflected any bias because of my senior age. I felt respected more as a peer when it comes to age differences.

Dr. Holden heard my concerns and was easy to talk to.

He didnt rush us through, he took his time and listened to what we had to say, offered suggestions.

This was my first visit with Dr. Holden after the retirement of my prior principal care physician. Dr. Holden was well informed and attentive. He had very good practical advice in response to my questions and I was impressed by his ability to put folks at ease.

I waited a little bit between the nurse leaving and Dr Holden coming in but he apologized and explained that he wanted to review some of the latest medical history which was great! He was up to speed on all my procedures, medications and conditions. We talked about future bloodwork and a possible MRI of my injured shoulder, and also reviewed and modified some dosage information on my medication list. I feel very comfortable with Dr Holden going forward. I was worried about finding a new PCP but now I am very happy. I should also mention that Tara , the nurse practitioner is also very good when I have a sinus infection or something that needs an immediate appointment. With Dr Holden and Tara I feel that I have a very good team to address my health needs. Also I use the patient portal and they both like communicating through that for RX renewals or simple questions.

It was confusing who to talk to and how to check out. No request about a follow was made, the records that I had brought with me for the original appointment were not in the chart, there was no review of orders (I know lab work was ordered, but I will still have to call back to confirm it and find out where to get it), and there was no review of the one referral in the AVS.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Holden, who, even though he was substituting for Dr. Stinson, had done a very thorough study of my recent visits, medications, other related health services such as my cardiologist (also in the Baycare system) plus all the required tests, e.g., blood, EKG, Chest X-ray, etc. In preparation to clearing me for my knee replacement surgery on Aug. 8. Anyone who has him as a primary doctor is truly fortunate!

My doctor is good the problem is everything else and my doctor is only seen every 6 months it seems. She is never available.
