Dr. Zachary Holden specializes in family medicine and sees patients age 18 and older, as part of BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, followed by a family medicine residency at Virginia Tech-Carilion Family Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia.
Dr. Holden is a competent family physician and primary care doctor. He strives to deliver quality care and thorough diagnosis to his patients. He is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
As a family physician, Dr. Holden emphasizes the importance of acute management to avoid chronic disease as well as regular screening for early detection of cancer. He provides patient centered care through active listening and regular communication. Dr. Holden has also taken a particular interest in acute musculoskeletal pathology while engaging in regular youth and adult sports events during his residency.
