Dr. Yoandra Diaz is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Trinity, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from Avalon University School of Medicine in Willemstad, Curaçao, and completed her family medicine residency at Borinquen Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Diaz provides care for acute illnesses and chronic conditions with special interests in preventive care, women’s health and lifestyle medicine. Her philosophy of care centers on building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and tailoring care to every individual.
Dr. Diaz emphasizes prevention and healthy lifestyle choices and believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their health while working together to achieve long-term wellness. She’s certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation and vascular imaging. Dr. Diaz is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. She’s fluent in Spanish.
