Dr. Ortega is a top-notch physician and I trust her completely with my medical care. I deeply value our longstanding doctor-patient relationship. It is of utmost importance to me that I see my doctor (as opposed to a physician assistant or nurse practitioner) for my regular medical care as her training and expertise as a physician are second to none.

Went the Doctors came to the office she seemed mad, and overwhelmed. She was kind of rude at the beginning and then at the end I said to her: thanks for seeing me today! And she looks her clock in her hand, and say: yeahh well I suppose to be in a place and I am late now.

Dr. Ortega is very concerned about maintaining a sterile environment relating to medical equipment such as stethescopes, blood pressure units, etc.

I was here for my yearly physical and although her notes say she did a thorough exam, she did not. I did tell her I am suffering with fatigue and according to her report I dont have it. She didnt discuss it with me either. She insists that I need statin drugs to lower my cholesterol. I tried them and ended up with pain in my legs. In the past four months I have worked very hard to lose weight and improve my numbers. I brought my LDL down from 178 to 146 on my own and she told me I wont be able to bring it down enough without meds. I feel she is just trying to push meds down my throat without caring about how I feel. I asked her about the marker MONO which came back high and if contributed to my fatigue and she got a little flustered and said no it has nothing to do with fatigue and it was about white blood count and I didnt need to worry about it. I dont feel that she cares about my complete health, just trying to push statin drugs on me.

I have been going to my care provider for over 20 years and I have had great experiences with her.

Dr. Ortega is very knowledgeable and thorough in analyzing my lab work and overall health. Pleasant and very professional at the same time.Although my lab numbers arent perfect, I would prefer not to go on any extra medication to prevent any unknown side effects. Commendably, Dr. Ortega is focused on my well-being and good lab numbers is desirable, however, I wish that she can be more conservative on suggestions to go on another medication when all other health aspects are doing good.
