Dr. William Velasquez is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, Sint Maarten, and completed a family medicine residency at Rush Copley Family Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. Dr. Velasquez treats patients for acute and chronic conditions, including wellness visits, cold and flu symptoms, upper respiratory infections, diabetes, hypertension and weight loss. He has a special interest in healthy living and preventive medicine and educates his patients about addressing not only their bodies and symptoms, but also their minds and spirits. Dr. Velasquez is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He’s fluent in Spanish.
