Dr. William Gibson is board certified in hematology and internal medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and completed an internal medicine residency and a hematology and oncology fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Gibson’s clinical interests include a variety of cancers, including lung, breast, colon and prostate cancers. He treats anemia, blood disorders, blood cancers, sickle cell disease and conditions affecting the lymphatic system. Dr. Gibson is affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
