He completed his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Dr. Nguyen then received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed and internship and residency in internal medicine from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Nguyen followed up his training with a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Louisville School of. Additionally, Dr. Nguyen is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Nguyen is very active in the community educating people about heart disease. He specializes in preventive cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular imaging. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
