Dr. Vaibhav ‘AJ’ Moondra is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. He is part of BayCare Medical Group where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the State University of New York in StoNew York Brook, New York. Dr. Moondra received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of New York at Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He completed an internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Moondra continued his education by completing a cardiovascular medicine and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Dr. Moondra’s clinical interests include all aspects of arrhythmia management and device implantation. He also specializes in standard and complex arrhythmia ablation, including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Moondra also has extensive training and experience with the use of cryoablation and intra-cardiac echocardiography. Dr. Moondra sees patients in the North Bay, Countryside and Clearwater offices.
