Dr Small is second to none. He has a great deal of expertise in the field of general as well as GI surgery. Hes also very kind and tells it like it is. He is amazing and I dread the day he retires as I may then have to seek out another surgeon if needed.

I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Small during a recent medical emergency. After arriving at the Emergency Room with severe abdominal pain and fever, I was diagnosed with a perforated colon that required immediate surgical intervention. He was excellent in communicating what I needed to know about my surgery and and the things I needed to do to help me heal afterwards. He told me what procedures he had to do to repair the internal damage and how long it would take to recover from the surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and an outstanding doctor.
