Tara is very very good and always has looked at medical history, asks complete questions about symptoms, pain, etc. Explains what may be going on and what options are for treatment and care. Always follows up with any test results or prescriptions.

I was so impressed that I presented with shoulder pain and Tara suggested that I might be actually having radiating neck pain. The x-rays showed that she was right. A less thorough practitioner may have missed this.

When I told APRN Tara Bisland Ostrowsky about my symptoms (e.g., frequent urination, difficulty urinating, overall urinary discomfort) and concerns (that I work outside in environments with a lot of bacteria and felt that I had an UTI, as has happened in the past and I have a history of). I was told that the female anatomy doesnt work in such a way and environment alone would not cause a UTI. Then was told even inappropriate wiping (which I did not bring up and I use proper technique) would not cause a UTI except in extremely old populations. Repeatedly I explained that everything I was feeling fit a UTI and I was treated as though it had to be something else like dehydration. The provider then said that they didnt see anything in the urine sample in house and would have to it send out for a culture. I was not asked which lab the sample should be sent to so I thought the provider would use Quest labs where all my previous bloodwork and samples had been set to, but instead they sent it to an out of network lab and I ended up receiving a bill of $170.10 for a service that my insurance would completely cover if the sample was sent to an in-network lab. All of this could have been avoided by checking my records or asking me, but neither was done. In the end I did have a UTI and was able to start antibiotics 2 weeks after my symptoms began to be an issue and interfere with my daily life and work.

Tara is excellent about listening to whats going on, she has already reviewed the medical records before coming into the room which makes you feel that she really knows whats going on with you as a patient. She explains everything very thourougly and completely and discusses options for care and the plus and minus of those decisions. Both my wife and I think she is really great to see and do not feel that we need to see Dr Stinson everytime. Its like having 2 medical people to schedule appointments with and thats great!

Had difficulty finding this downtown office building, so I called twice to get directions. The first person told me, Youre late. As if I was going to hold up the schedule rotation. When I arrived, there were no other patients anywhere in the office. I felt they were inconsiderate about my difficulty finding the office. Neither one of these staff women apologized at any time. The nurse did apologize for the rude handling of my phone calls. Further, Dr Ball has been my primary provider for a year, and to date, I have never met her. Ive only seen the Nurse Practitioner.

The Physicians Assistant was great, Ive been treated by her before and she is professional, knowledgable, and supportive.

The stool sample results were transmitted to Dr. Balls office prior to the July 4th weekend, but no one bothered to inform me. I went into the holiday weekend feeling worse every day. I went to the office on Sat. Morning to try to get the results and the office was closed. I decided to persevere through the long weekend, feeling worse every day and developing a fever on Sunday (7/3). Finally, on Tuesday morning (7/5) I went to Dr. Balls office at 8 am requesting to be seen since I was feeling much worse. The receptionist told me I could not be seen, that, This office does not treat sick patients. Dumbfounded, I asked her if it was not a health care facility. She said yes, but they did not treat sick patients. I asked her point-blank if they would treat me if I was having an asthma attack and passing out on the floor. She said no, that my two choices were to go to Urgent Care or the Emergency Room. I asked if Dr. Ball or Tara were in the office. She said no and offered no other option.

Tara is BY FAR one the best doctors/APRN I have ever had the pleasure of receiving medical care from. I had two things I really wanted to talk to her about that I was nervous to explain and she made me feel so heard and comfortable. She was kind and such a great listener. She provided solutions for me to try. I cannot thank her enough.
