Dr. Swati Patel is a board-certified family medicine physician and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida, and completed a family medicine residency at AdventHealth Sebring Family Medicine Residency Program in Sebring, Florida, where she was the administrative chief resident. Dr. Patel focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases, including diabetes mellitus, hypertension and high cholesterol. She provides comprehensive primary care services, including wellness exams, vaccinations and point-of-care diagnostic testing. Dedicated to patient-centered care, Dr. Patel takes time to listen to her patients and understand their individual health concerns. She’s certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation.
