    • Dr. Steve Kovacs is a hospitalist with Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. He provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. Kovacs is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Kovacs continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. Dr. Kovacs is certified in basic life support, cardiac life support and advanced cardiac life support. He works primarily out of Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in Lutz, Florida.
