Stephen E. Gilliard, APRN

S. Eric Gilliard is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner with BayCare Medical Group serving Winter Haven and surrounding communities, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He received an undergraduate degree in nursing from State College of Florida in Bradenton, Florida. He then earned his graduate degree in nursing, with an emphasis on acute care, from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

Eric possesses skills in the management of critically ill post-operative patients, including percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary artery bypass, valve replacement, heart and lung transplant, and left ventricular assist devices. He is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support and is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
