    • Dr. Stephanie DeSouza is board certified in internal medicine and is a hospitalist with St. Joseph’s Hospital-North. She provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. She will be responsible for your care while you’re in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. DeSouza received her medical degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. DeSouza will be responsible for your care while you’re in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. DeSouza is also certified in advanced cardiac life support and basic life. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
