My first visit to this office was with Dr. Ignell and team and was a good one. Fo this follow-up, I was equally anxious to meet Nurse Practitioner Stephanie in the hopes that she will also be a great care provider. My worries quickly vanished when I met her as she was calm, clear, friendly, and completely focused on our time together. I truly appreciate her taking the time needed to ask questions if one another, get answers, and create a care plan together. Thank you!

Brushed my health concerns off and sent me elsewhere. Spent very little time in the room. It was the second time I saw her and was very disappointed and hope not to see her agoin for an appt.

First time Ive had this care provider care for me. She was very kind and knowledgeable concerning my situation.

Stephanie is very thorough. She wont stop until she gets an answer to what is related to me with my care. Always a solution solver.

I had a very high blood test results for Estradiol. My results were DOUBLE the normal range so I was worried and made an appointment. I wanted an appointment with my primary doctor but she wasnt available so I made it with the nurse practitioner. I was very disappointed with the way she treated me. I kept asking her about why my levels were so high and she just told me Its just your estrogen did not explain anything to me or listened to me when I expressed concern as to why it was double the normal range levels. She kept saying nothing was wrong with me because I have a normal period. She emphasized that I was healthy because my period was normal instead of explaining or hearing my concern about the high levels. She made me feel like I wasnt being listed or helped at all. The appointment felt like a waste of time and gas. Very disappointed that she was a female yet did not take my female related concerns seriously. It felt like a slap to my face. Very disappointing that she went to school for so long just to tell me its just estrogen. Nothing ended up being done. I think she told me we could do an ultrasound if I was still concerned about getting a pcos diagnosis but I never got a referral or anything about it so I dont even know if she did order it. She also mentioned that we had to wait for my testosterone level to come in for it to help us to move forward with a resolution which I understand but I feel like she should have explained the estrogen levels or talked me more about it since that was my biggest concern. I still dont know why it was so high or what could be causing it or why it shouldnt be to big of a concern.
