Dr. Son Nguyen specializes in internal medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, and completed an internal medicine residency at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, Florida.
Dr. Nguyen diagnoses and treats a variety of health issues. He builds a relationship with his patients, listens to their concerns, thoroughly explains their health conditions and works with them to create a suitable treatment plan. Dr. Nguyen’s primary interests are preventive medicine and promoting beneficial lifestyles to keep his patients healthy. He’s certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Hillsborough County Medical Association, the American College of Physicians-Florida Chapter, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. He’s fluent in Vietnamese.
