Dr. Smitha Pabbathi is board certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine and completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Pabbathi provides comprehensive internal medicine care focusing on prevention and early detection. She’s contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications, including the European Journal of Cancer Care and the Journal of Family Practice. Dr. Pabbathi is a core faculty member of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program in Tampa, Florida. She’s a member of the American College of Physicians and the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. Pabbathi is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
