Dr. Silpa Benny specializes in family medicine and serves with BayCare Medical Group in the Oldsmar, Florida community, where she sees patients aged 15 and older. She completed an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Swannee, Georgia. Dr. Benny continued her medical education by completing a family medicine residency at HCA Florida-St. Petersburg Hospital/USF Morsani College of Medicine.
Dr. Benny enjoys helping patients understand how to improve their health and well-being. Her satisfaction comes from meeting patients from diverse backgrounds and learning about their lives and challenges. Dr. Benny is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation.
