VERY HAPPY WITH MY PROVIDER

I brought up my obesity and she showed me an app to count calories. I explained to her again my history with my critical state of anemia and thought maybe that my thyroid or my body not functioning well and did she think that would allow my metabolism to start working properly..I told her that my diet was quite healthy and I have no issues with my cholesterol ..she again spoke about a noom like app to count calories and stated that if I was fishing for an ozempic type shot that she does not think those are a good idea. I was not in fact fishing for a pharmaceutical but asking her her opinion on my body and weight gain maybe in connection to my recently found anemic state. She had no opinion again on anything with my condition and connection to weight gain. We talked about my treadmill in my den area and how I sacrificed my pretty room for an ugly treadmill and again she showed me her app on her phone. I wish she had more insight on anything other than a calorie counting app.Great, simple, well woman exam, pap..I asked about my fibroids and heavy period and how it relates to the recent hospital emergency I had with Critical Anemia..doctor had to really look at my history to see history. Not much advice on moving forward with a possible ablaision or hysterectomy..doctor stated she was not a gynecologist and could refer me to one. When I asked her on her opinion on any procedure that may be helpful in my case..again..she said she was not a gynecologist. I chose this doctor because she was a DO and maybe not a gynocologist..that she may understand my whole body including any gynecology issues. She had no opinion on anything.I wouldnt rate this as a bad experience just a bland experience.
