    The provider was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He accommodated me in his schedule when my original provider had a busy schedule. He identified the problem and added a water pill that brought down my BP in 24 hrs. But he could have better explained this. As I was not aware what that medicine was for till I came home and googled it.

    He was Professional, attentive, compassionate to the loss of my husband. He helped me by easing my mind about a finger cut and also with 2 pre cancerous lesions on my left ear. He is Fantastic!!

He completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, followed by a family medicine residency at Mohawk Valley Health System/Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York, where he served as chief resident.

      Dr. Schumaker’s clinical interests include arthritis management, asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension. He prioritizes building trusting relationships and provides personalized medical management tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
