    First time seeing her. Very concerned about the biopsy site. Asked questions about the dermatology appointment I had. Put my mind at ease and gave me great advice on care of the wound. Prescribed antibiotic.

    She didnt know anything about my situation which has been documented by both doctor and nurse. She also had the I know better than you approach.

    The care provider told me that I had covid then sent me home. She did not propose any medications that I should take or what I should be expecting or experiencing. She did mention about a covid kit or something but I did not understand her. I kept asking questions about it but she did not explain it well. I was concerned about my health so I agreed for her to prescribe it. Later, I found out, that kit would cost me $500 with insurance. So I canceled it with my pharmacy.

    • Sara Giacchetta is a board-certified physician assistant with BayCare Medical Group serving the Tampa, Florida area, where she sees patients age 18 and older. Sara completed dual Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Albany in Albany, New York. She then earned her graduate degree in physician assistant studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worchester, Massachusetts.

      Sara believes communication and listening to patients is very important. She can gather health histories and perform physical exams, in addition to interpreting radiological studies, electrocardiograms (EKG) and diagnostic lab results. Sara enjoys working closely with patients to help develop a plan that will help them be successful in meeting their goals and improving their health.
