Dr. Sanket Patel is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Palm Harbor, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland, and completed a family medicine residency at Summerville Medical Center in Summerville, South Carolina, where he also served as an inaugural chief resident.
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include cerumen removal, EKG interpretation, laceration repair and peripheral joint injections. He believes in the importance of preventive medicine to help his patients meet their health goals. Dr. Patel received awards for research on post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with substance use disorders and for leading a quality improvement initiative that introduced transitional care management. He’s certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support. Dr. Patel is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
