Dr. Sanjiv Amin is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Palm Harbor, Florida, and provides comprehensive care to patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio, completed an internal medicine residency at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Amin practices all aspects of clinical gastroenterology with a special interest in liver diseases. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Dr. Amin performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. He’s committed to compassionate, patient-centered care, emphasizing clear communication and collaborative decision-making to help patients feel informed and supported. Dr. Amin has participated in over 50 clinical research studies. He’s a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Amin is affiliated with Mease Countryside Hospital.
