The provider was professional and made sure I understood everything he was saying. He even gave me a chance to speak my concerns and provided me feedback.

I have had great experiences with Bay Care providers- this , however, was not one of them. This provider came recommended to me.As I mentioned I waited about 30 mins before the provider entered the exam room. After he introduced himself, he launched into his diagnosis which was a tear in my hip, and the two options I had for treatment when he began explaining that he thought I needed a hip replacement his cell phone rang and rather than silence it he answered the call. He said oh Im sorry I need to get this. I dont know who it is he answered the call and I could hear the other end of the conversation. It was a gentleman who was working on the doctors boat dock. The provider proceeded to have a several minute conversation with the worker at his dock. They discussed a placement of something and issues with docking a boat. After after he ended the call after a few minutes, Dr. Menon apologize I said sorry I have a plumber at my house and no one is there. At that point I really didnt listen to anything further he had to say because its about 9:30 in the morning, he could have picked up the phone and said he was with a patient and he would call this person back or simply not answered the call, I found this really disrespectful and rather shocking since this has never happened to me before. Also, he did not examine my hip or do anything except talk to me about hip replacement. At one point he made a flip comment about getting paid to do surgery. I left with no real resolution other than to call him when I needed him- basically when I wanted to do surgery. Its important to note the info Dr. Menon have me contradicted the info his PA gave me at the first appointment. I ended up scheduling an appointment with another orthopedic specialist In NY. My experience In his office was night and day. He examined my hips, asked me to walk etc and offered me detailed options and Information about a hip replacement. It was a very different experience.
