    • Dr. Ryan Walk is board certified in pediatric and general surgery. He supports BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida where he sees patients from birth to 18 years old. Dr. Walk completed an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He continued his medical education by completing a general surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He then completed a pediatric surgery fellowship from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. A veteran of the United States Army, Dr. Walk has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications and held several academic positions. Dr. Walk is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Children’s Oncology Group, the Excelsior Surgical Society, the Pediatric Trauma Society and the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group. He is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Dr. Walk strives to provide impeccable care for the full breadth of pediatric surgical issues.
