Rose T. Trotta, MD

Dr. Rose Trotta specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, followed by a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Trotta’s areas of clinical interest include breast reconstructive surgery, body contouring, craniofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery. She works with her patients throughout their entire journey, from the initial evaluation to the postoperative rehabilitation processes.

Dr. Trotta is passionate about medical education and clinical outcomes research. She has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal and the Annals of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Trotta is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.
